Located in St. Louis with team members throughout the US, we’re a team of experts with a passion for solving problems, building powerful custom software, and helping people achieve their fullest vision of success. We’re passionate about helping enterprises remove friction and waste from how they operate, and that passion has been the driving force behind Skeleton Key since day one.

Founder and CEO Mark Richman started his journey in a different, yet still highly technical field: theatrical design and production. His experience in technical direction, production management, and stage design showed him the importance of problem-solving and finding consensus, as well as the value of good design principles and practices.

In 2002, those principles and that passion for problem-solving led him to a new field, software development. Two years later, Skeleton Key opened its doors with a focus on developing custom business applications and strategies that help organizations work more efficiently.
